Hi, after the last Aquamail update I have an occasional problem where messages I've sent to the deleted folder are returned to the inbox when my mail account syncs with the server. This only happens part of the time so it's a little confusing. I'm using a Nexus 4 with android 4.4. My mail is coming from a Horde account which I happen to know is an outdated version, however, it is otherwise working. Let me know if any other information would be useful.

me, too. I have android 4.2 and AQUAMAIL 1.3.20.4. (and version 1.3.9 has this problem, too)
I delete a message from inbox (or sent message) and it move the message to trash...
I go in trash and empty the folder completely or only one message, then i quit from trash folder, returne in it... and the message is there again.
This problem is with IMAP ACCOUNTS, not with pop3 accounts. I have try set to off the syncronisation for the trash folder... but i have not resolve the problem. I have already try delete all database messages with all messages and restart but not resolve.

Debug logs?
i have sent you it yesterday in you emai... hope it is arrived.... ::)

I'll send one if I can get the problem to repeat - it will act normal for days and only do this once in a while.

Umm, sorry, no debug logs showed up in my gmail inbox, and yes I checked the spam folder too.
Weird.
My backup email address is "kmansoft" // at sign // fastmail.fm, please?

I'm having this problem too. It's purely random but an absolute pain in the backside. Nexus 7 version 1 phase . V4.2.2. Aquamail Pro. v1.3.8
It was ok on my old nexus but that went faulty 4 months ago and since I installed it on this one I've had this problem. I'm seriously thinking of ditching Aquamail

Still no debug logs from anyone, just "me toos"?
No info?
-- account type (IMAP, POP3, EWS)?
-- delete method (move to deleted, hide, delete now)?
-- mail server? Go Daddy, anyone?
-- IMAP push or not?
Even though my beverage of choice is tea -- fortune telling with tea leaves is not among my strengths.

Think I found and fixed one possible cause. Scenario:
- IMAP
- "Hiding" messages
- The server has few actual messages (i.e. 10-20... fewer than the sync window)
The fix will be included 1.3.27.3, coming a bit later tonight under "development builds".

I was having the same problem with the app on my android phone, except that it was happening with every email I deleted. Your recent fix seems to have solved the problem. I'll let you know if it re-occurs. I do have a debug file from when it was happening if you need it. Thanks.

Actually this morning, the problem re-appeared for a while. I am using IMAP on an Android phone (Motorola G). The problem of deleting emails that would reappear after I deleted them when the app re-synced started occurring after I did a factory reset. I actually have the app on my tablet as well and it continues to work without problem. I even made sure the phone mirrored all the settings of the tablet to no avail. I am using 1.3.27.3 on the phone and 1.3.8 on my tablet. I sent you a log file.
Thanks,
Mark

Thank you for the log.
For the benefit of others who may be affected:
It's an inconsistency on the mail server.
Sometimes it advertises an efficient command for moving messages between folders (in one shot) -- sometimes it doesn't, even when the app connects to same server name / IP address / account. Then Aqua tries to use it, and the command fails, not moving any messages.
I've added a fix, we'll see how it works out.
