Title: Exchange Account Fails "Incoming server login error" 1.3.8
Post by: dutch55 on January 15, 2014, 09:24:50 am
The error "incoming server login error. NO Account is temporarily unavailable" started today about two days after I set up my hosted exchange account. When I tried to check the settings  it reports this as an IMAP error, but it is an exchange account.  I deleted the account and restored the settings. Same error occurs after the restore with a red triangle in the status bar.

Dutch55,

It's kind of hard to suggest anything when you don't supply any more details (server name etc).

This is from the FAQ  (http://www.aqua-mail.com/?page_id=232)and details how to create a debug file to send to Kostya for analysis:

Creating a log if something doesn't work right

In the application’s settings, open “Debug” section (at the bottom) and enable “Debug logging” there. Set “Log output location” to “Root of memory card”. You will need to enable “Include raw data” most of the time, if the issue is related to specific message(s) or account(s).

Once logging is enabled, please repeat whatever was causing the issue.

After having done this, please send the log file, stored at the root of your device’s memory card and called log-AquaMail.txt, to kmansoft / at sign / gmail / dot com (and disable logging afterwards).
As of 1.2.5.0, attaching logs is easy: there is a menu item for this in the compose window (last one).

The log does not contain your email account passwords.

"NO Account is temporarily unavailable"

Is an IMAP server's response. You are mistaken about using EWS, sorry.

The "temporarily unavailable" kind of speaks for itself, the server is having trouble of some sort. AquaMail just shows the message, it does not generate it.

Depending on the exact mail service, sometimes it helps to log into web mail (e.g. the mail service wants to perform some sort of re-authentication...). If not, please contact the mail service's support.
