Title: Pinch zoom in message view doesn't zoom half of the time

Hi,

Often, when i use the pinch gesture in a message body nothing happens. It just sporadically doesn't work. Often I cant zoom out unless I succesfully zoom in first. Overall it just doesn't work reliably.

Nexus 4 direct from Google
Kitkat 4.4.2
Nova launcher.

Would love to see a fix as I really enjoy the app.
