I keep getting a sound when Aqua syncs. Would like to stop it but do not see anything in settings for this.
The message I get is "AquaMail push mail:(my email address).

You must be using a notification enhancement app.
Pretty much all of them treat "ongoing" notifications as "something happened" notifications, yet there is a clear difference.
I'd like to see this fixed in the other app, where it's broken (for a change).

Hi,
Just got the phone Tuesday. Was using Aqua in old phone with no sound notification. Have not installed any third party sound notification apps in new phone or old phone. Have a Droid Maxx running 4.2.2.

I can assure you that there is no code in AquaMail to specify a sound in the "ongoing" ("Synchronizing with...") notifications.
Perhaps your Motorola comes with something pre-installed that does this?

No Problem. Thanks for the input. Keep up the good work.
