On my Nexus 7 tablet, the'show linked images' button doesn't work.

Which app version? Which Android version?

Version 1.3 which has fixes for those "between the message header and message text" panels is currently in a staged rollout. Not all devices are being updated yet. The plan is to go to 100% this coming weekend.

If you need to update now, feel free to grab 1.3 from the "Development builds" section of this forum.
