also, can I import Linkedin / Facebook account into the app?

This app has nothing to do with LinkedIn or Facebook.

It's also my understanding that Facebook's Android app keeps other users contact images "private", i.e. they can't be displayed by other apps (even if you see them in Contacts). I guess that's a security feature of some sort on their part, but then, I don't have a Facebook account myself, so don't really know if it's true.

I use an app called Contacts+ that syncs up my address book to a multitude of social networks.

I just did a double check and confirmed that the picture of one of my contacts whom I have connected only with LinkedIn, correctly displays within AquaMail.
