Title: Mails are gone

I install Aquamail on my Samsung Galaxy S4 .
When  recive a E-mails and close Aquamail and open it next Time the Mails are all gone  :'(
Do I somthing wrong in the settings ????

Very strange behavior, nearly not explainable.
- What account type? IMAP or POP3
- What email provider?

Have you changed anything settings after setting up this email account?

Now it works I dont know why chage nothigng  ::)
But now I have another Problem when I recive  Mails on my Handy It delets on Mailserver .
With my old Handy befor I can recive the Mails on Handy and it let the Mails on Mailserver so I can recive it  on  PC again  .
I think it is a settig problem but I am a Noob in thoose things .
I dont know what account Typ I use .By installig Aquamail it only ask my E-Mail adress and Password ,anything else works automatic.
I look in settings but cant find anything about account typ .Normaly I use pop 3
If sombody German here please answer in German

OK, Antwort in Deutsch  ;D,

Ich nehme an du hattest IMAP über secureimap.t-online.de. Die haben oder hatten eine Störung wegen SPAM-Einschlägen. IMAP-Abruf war mehrere Tage zeitweise nicht möglich. POP3 ging aber.

Hallo vielen Dank für den Tipp ,jetzt wird mir einiges klarer .
Hab gestern den den ganzen Tag verzweifelt versucht das Standard E-Mail Program des Galaxy S4 zu instalieren und es hat und hat nicht geklappt .hab mir dann gegen Abend AquaMail runter geladen und da hats dann gleich geklappt mit der instalation .Nue besagtes Problem das aber heute Morgen ja wieder weg war .Hab es grad eben nochmal mit dem E-Mail Program des Galaxy probiert ,und siehe da ging sofort  :D lag also an der Telecom .
Jetz weiss nur nicht was ich tun muss das die E-Mails nach abruf durchs Handy auf dem Server bleiben so das ich sie zuhause mit dem PC nochmal abrufen kann ???Vorher mitdem alten Handy war das so  ???

Back to english (it's an english Forum) :):
Keep messages on the server and delete locally works by one hides it, this function is in the account settings of the IMAP account. Delete completely locally then goes to unhide and completely delete.
Then there's "delete to delete". This causes that they be deleted locally and on the server who deleted marker is used. On the server or local settings on it, now is how long these mails are kept. In the IMAP folder of the app features a slider determines how many mails are kept there, if it is set it overrides autom. the Basic setting in the normal settings!
