Hello,
I have a basic (free) GMX.DE mail account. It allows me to access the account with AquaMail Pro using POP protocols. I would like to manage my e-mail fully using AquaMail (i.e. without it being necessary for me to login on my GMX.DE account online/web). What I'd like AquaMail to do, is download the messages from GMX.DE and NOT leave a copy on the server. This way I am not needing to clean-up the server periodically and I only need to manage the messages directly on AquaMail on my tablet.
I am unclear whether this functionality already exists in AquaMail - if so, how do I go about setting up this desired behaviour?
Thank you!

No, this functionality does not exist, and I have no plans for it, sorry. A mobile mail app, to me, is not the appropriate "basket" to keep all your "eggs" into.
Not sure what you mean by a POP3-only account. I have a free @gmx.com account, and it supports IMAP, works fine with AquaMail and there is an automatic preset for it.

I second that- gmx using IMAP. Works perfectly with Aquamail on phone and tablet, and Outlook on. My laptop and desktop machines. Everything stays in sync.
