I am new to AquaMail, and I could not find another post that answers my question specifically. So I am starting this new post.
I have two Gmail accounts configured using AquaMail 1.2.5.5 on my Samsung Galaxy S4. I have set my IMAP Push to off. I am trying to manually sync/refresh my emails using the Refresh icon on the bottom left corner of the AquaMail main/home screen. However, when I try to do this, only one of my two email accounts refreshes. I tried changing the order in which the accounts are displayed, and that does not make any difference. Only the one email accounts gets updated/refreshed. In order to update the other one, I have to go and use the Refresh icon next to the email account name in the accounts list.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any ideas? Thanks!

If you are viewing the smart folder, the bottom icon does the same as the top one - refresh all. If, however, you are viewing one account, the bottom refresh icon refreshes that account only.
Just tested it with mine, and that seems to be what happens. I have push turned on with one account out of three, but this does not change anything (or so it seems).

The easiest way is the sync icon in the main window (account list).
There is a per-account setting though, for whether an account is included in this or not (some users don't want the "all" in "sync all" to mean "all").
To check: long press the account, then Options and Folders / Account options / Include in "Sync all".

Thank you very much for the responses. Including both accounts in Sync All was the issue. Followed the instructions and got it to work. Thanks again!
