Title: Small configuration buglet
Post by: Rachel Ambler on December 17, 2012, 12:10:24 am
First off, congratulations on a superb app. Best IMAP email app available on Android by far.

Minor buglet : when I go back into my account configuration I find AquaMail resets my smtp server name to the default value rather than my previously configured one.

Gmail Google Apps.

Thanks!

Hi,

If you use "Manual", it won't reset (or at least shouldn't... please let me know if it does).

It does. That's how I discovered the issue. I use Google Apps with my own domain so when I first set up the account I had to change the IMAP and SMTP server names from the default.

Later on I changed my password and had to go back into the account to update the password. My custom IMAP server name was fine, but the SMTP name had been reset.
