Is there a way to find and restore an email that was accidentally hidden in a pop3 account?

Absolutely. Bring up the message list, then Menu -> Show hidden.

That's why I asked.

Because I have several accounts, I live in the smart    inbox and there is no Unhide/Show hidden in the smart inbox menu. See attachment image.

(I did find it in the individual account inboxes - which is very useful).

Ah, yes, there isn't Unhide in the smart folder. I'll write this down to fix.
