I also do... but you have to acknowledge that a lot of people were asking for this. :p

There is definitely demand for formatted text... And images...
Especially in signatures... Company logos, job titles, confidentiality notices in fine print that span 10+ lines...
I do realize that many (most) people prefer plain text, so text formatting will be optional (perhaps off by default, not sure yet).

Would be nice if you can switch to HTML editing while you mostly use plain text.

wow you have packed so many new and fanatic features in the current beta, it takes my breath away. Congrats!
If you ever run out of ideas, I have one more for you : client side encryption and decryption aka pgp support.

Realistically, though, I really need to work on that damn Exchange thing after the upcoming (and long overdue) release.
Rich text formatting is going quite well, btw.
Ran into an Android bug:

You have really made impressive progress with your app, recently left Kaiten for your pro version and I really don't regret it!
On my wishlist for future releases:
- threading/conversation view (really miss it)
- configurable notifications (per sender with blacklist and or whitelist)
Keep on rocking, Kostya, you're doing a fantastic job!

I'm surprised about Kaiten's low Google Play ratings and download counts... Looks like a perfectly nice app to me.
Now, don't all go rushing to request more new features :)
I'm quite aware about the lack of a threaded view, message rules, and a bunch of other things.
For the immediate future, I'll be still sticking to my plan though, which is: to finish rich text editing, make a release, finally work on Exchange support. Everything else (major features) is after that.

When I was very young and worked at Symantec, my manager had a little note next to his computer: "If you fail to plan, plan to fail".... I used to think it was pretentious, now, many many years later, I'm warming up to the idea... :)

Almost done with rich text editing.
Supported in message body area and signatures.
No embedded images yet (this will be "phase 2", or something :), not in the initial relase )
Just one thing left to do: implement a good text color picker dialog.

Yes, that's a great color picker - and K-9 uses it too.
But:
it needs a list of common colors
so one doesn't have to fumble with the "wheel" just to pick "red" or "blue"
and to fit on phone sized screens, swiping between the common colors and the color "wheel"
and a way to enter an exact value (yes, some people want "0xFF00A0" for the notification LED's)
Maybe something like attached below?
Can you guess what app this is?
( hint: not K-9 )

Kostya, could you add this color picker for Folders Colour too, please? For now we have only 8 colour choices and that is really limited. Thanks
