Title: Load all messages in sub folder - gmail imap
Post by: telrod11 on August 02, 2013, 05:54:02 pm
Hello,
Have a folder in gmail where email that isn't critical is delivered by rules inside gmail.

When I open this folder in aqua, it may tell me that I have 100 messages there, but it will only load maybe 65 of them.   I have the setting set to download 5000 messages , but it will not download all these, unless I go to the bottom and hit "load 50 more" repeatedly, until it tells me all messages loaded.

How can I get this folder to load all of my messages without a continued manual refresh?

This is a minor annoyance, because not only does it not
load all the messages, it doesn't load them sequentially, unless I manually refresh

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can have the app keep the folder up to date as it checks mail by setting it to "Sync as incoming" in the account's Options and Folders -> Folders.

Otherwise, it's an "access as needed" folder, and will not be kept up to date on every mail check.

Please see the FAQ for further details, it's near the top:
