Title: copy/paste

I am using a Motorola Zoom. When copying part of a message to paste into another program, having difficulty selecting what I wish to copy, then not all of the text copies. Sometimes copy message text does not work.

Motorola Xoom? The original tablet? What Android version does that run these days?

Are we talking about selecting message text (initiate by a long press, drag the handles to adjust)...

Or Menu -> Copy/Send/Share/Print?

That's too bad, but...

... selecting text and copying selected text is handled by the system (it's a web browser-like Android component).

I've seen weirdness too when selecting text in the stock browser and Google Chrome on Android 4.1 - 4.2, so...

Copying all of message text using the menu is handled by my code though. Is there a pattern when it fails? ( messages from same sender, maybe mailing list / forum notifications / promotional? )
