Title: LINKEDin emails open in browser, not app
Post by: joweirqt on July 25, 2013, 02:54:03 am
How can I get links in emails from LinkedIn to open in the Android app? Currently they open a browser only.
Other links open in apps correctly, eg YouTube, but not LinkedIN.
Any suggestions?

Talk to LinkedIn, perhaps?

This is something that has to be done in the respective native app. It's well documented, too: an app needs to declare that it can handle links that match a certain pattern, and Android will give the user a choice (web browser vs. native app). As you can see, YouTube (etc.) did it right.

As far AquaMail goes, there is no difference, it just asks the system to open a link.
