Hi,
I noticed all link images of every email I opened is automatically saved in "android/data/..aquamail/part" folder. Is there a way to disable or turn this off?
Thanks a lot.

As far as i know, no.
But i think they should be/get erased when the corresponding email gets deleted. I am not sure.
Wait for Kostya (developer) to give you a definitive answer in this matter.

ThanksThomas...
If there's no way of turning it off or disabling it, can we at least configure it to be saved in the external SD card.. it's taking a lot of precious space in the internal storage. .. it's also very tedious going through the process of opening the file manager, dig in to the "/parts" delete all the saved images every time I opens my emails.. :(
-
This folder is automatically cleaned up by AM.
-
in my case, it's not automatically deleted. .. I have to manually delete all the saved images after I exit AM.. :(

Takes a couple of days...

These are "inline" images, included right in the messages (as opposed to linked), so they have to be downloaded.
They are automatically deleted, when their owning messages are.
By default, the app keeps on the device up to 250 recent messages per folder, and trims once a day (at night). The 250 is the "messages to keep" setting - global or per-account, under Options and Folders.
-
That means, I can limit the saved inline images to zero? :)
-
Ooops!.. limit is 50 messages only.. no zero option.. why do I need to keep those in-line images in my internal storage? ... most of them is just being repeated (coming from messages of the same person)... on a daily basis, I get no less than 20 emails from our principal in UK and the same logo get saved repeatedly... If this is needed for efficiency, is there a way to configure AM to saved it in the external storage?

It is external storage -- the memory card or its equivalent on devices like the Galaxy Nexus / Note 2 (that have both a "large built-in memory" and a "real" -- optional -- sdcard).
It is not the "real" internal memory.
These images can't be linked to on the web, because they are parts of messages themselves.
The app will clean those of them past the "messages to keep" setting, with their "parent" messages. The minimal setting for "messages to keep" is 50, to speed up sever sync when scrolling down the message list.
