With an IMAP account, how can I delete a mail folder?

You can not do so with AquaMail, you can only exclude the folder from push or check and so hide it from the folder list.
Deleting is for now only possibly in the email web page.

There is no folder delete in AquaMail -- please use web mail or a desktop mail app.

( the reasons are: 1) it can be a lengthy operation 2) "help, I deleted my messages!" -- I'll let others handle emails like that... which undoubtedly there will be.... )
