Title: Stop AquaMail from downloading my spam from a yahoo account

I have my settings set to not sync spam and for spam messages to be immediately deleted from my spam folder on yahoo mail, but I still get all spam downloaded to aquamail.  Is there a way to prevent this that anyone knows about?  Thank you.

Can you check Yahoo web mail to see if those spam messages show in the inbox?

No they are not.  Before I set the spam to be instantly deleted it would be in the spam folder.  Now if I log in to the web mail they are deleted right away.  If I use Outlook I get all the mail (as long as I haven't been on yahoo mail) but it is properly routed to my spam folder. Thank you!

Are you using IMAP? That should keep the folders separate.

( if using POP3, the server might be returning messages from all folders, which is not what you want in this case )

The default, automatic, setup for @yahoo.com addresses is IMAP, so you may want to add a new instance of this account to AquaMail, to see if it would work differently.
