How do I setup a Contacts List in Aqua MailPro?
-
Aqua only uses the regular Google Contacts.
There are some people in the forum, who would like to have a build in contacts-list like e.g. in thunderbird, but that is quite a big piece of work to build. Not sure if Kostya might add that in the near future, since is todo-list is already quite huge ;-)
Here is the link anyway:

In case you are talking about groups and not contacts, that feature is already implemented. When you compose a message, you can hit the menue button and insert a contact-group, which is cool.
Love,

My issue is a variation on this. I can click on 'save as known', which I had assumed meant that the contact is added to the built in Google 'people' app. No error message appears but neither is any contact added to the 'people' app. People remains as empty as it always has been up to now. Is it because I am not using gmail, but instead have aqua fetching mail from 4 accounts on a 3rd party server provided with my domain hosting? (1 and 1).
In the absence of a standalone contacts, I would for now as a temporary measure be prepared to use 'people' but it simply does not work........I had assumed it did as aqua mail behaved as if it was doing something.

"Save as known" saves in the app only, and is only used for spam control of embedded images.
If you wish to save the sender in the Contacts / People app, tap the sender's image (in the message header, top left) and you'll be prompted to do so.
If the sender already exists in Contacts / People, you'll be prompted to open the contact's data card, or -- did you know this? -- call him or send an SMS... provided there is a phone number saved in the card too.

Thanks very much. Is there a way to review or edit the 'known' list, in case I add as 'known' something that should remain 'unknown'?
I have now found how to add or edit contacts, but I assume I must do this one at a time.
I assume I cannot add the whole of a ten-item 'to' list in one hit?

IMHO for now there is no possibility to edit this list. Only to clean the list entirely.
But it is a nice feature which could be added.

Correct, there is no editing of the known list, at least for now.
