Title: Custom sounds
Post by: stratoboy on April 13, 2013, 06:36:32 pm
I want to be able to add my own notification sounds.  Can you please tell me how to do this.  I see in the Android/Aquamail folder there are files named things like  a1-f4-m792-2.  However they not a particular file type, it just says file.  Please advise on how to accomplish this.

Thanks

You should be able to pick a sound in the app's preferences (no need to dig though files -- btw, those are cached attachments and inline images you found...)

To pick from more than the device's standard notification sound set, you can try a file manager (I know ES Explorer supports this), or Rings Extended (in Google Play, written by a core Android developer).
